Yin Yoga is a slow and meditative style of yoga that focuses on stillness, deep stretching, and relaxation. Unlike dynamic yoga practices, Yin Yoga involves holding postures for longer periods to gently target the connective tissues, fascia, joints, and meridian lines of the body.
This practice encourages mindfulness, awareness, and surrender while improving flexibility, mobility, circulation, and emotional balance. Supported by props such as bolsters, blocks, and blankets, Yin Yoga allows the body and mind to deeply relax and release tension.
Yin Yoga is often described as a moving meditation that helps calm the nervous system, reduce stress, and create a deeper connection between body, breath, and mind.
