These policies are designed to maintain a safe, respectful and transparent learning environment for every student participating in the Yoga With Srinatha teacher training program.
Our yoga teacher training programs are physically, mentally and emotionally intensive. Each participant is expected to take responsibility for their personal health, safety and well-being throughout the course.
Students should practise mindfully, inform the teacher about any pain or discomfort, take adequate rest whenever necessary and respect their individual physical and emotional limits.
The program may not be suitable for pregnant individuals or anyone undergoing treatment for a serious physical or mental health condition without prior approval from a qualified medical professional.
Before participating, every student must complete and sign a declaration confirming that they are physically and mentally fit to attend the training.
Our teachers and support staff will offer reasonable assistance, but they are not acting as licensed medical doctors, therapists or mental health professionals.
When required, we may assist students in connecting with trusted local medical or mental health professionals. Consultation, treatment, transport and related expenses remain the responsibility of the participant.
The registration deposit becomes non-refundable once the application has been reviewed and formally accepted.
The remaining course fee must be paid before the course begins or at the time of final enrolment, according to the payment deadline communicated by Yoga With Srinatha.
Course fees are generally non-refundable once the training has started, including cases where a student voluntarily withdraws, arrives late or leaves before completing the course.
If Yoga With Srinatha cancels the training, students may choose either a full refund of the course fees paid or a transfer to an available future course.
Yoga With Srinatha is not responsible for flight tickets, visa charges, travel arrangements, insurance, accommodation booked separately or any other personal expenses.
A registration deposit may be transferred to a future course date with prior written approval, subject to availability and any applicable administrative conditions.
International students are advised to arrange appropriate travel and medical insurance before travelling. Students should avoid making non-refundable travel bookings until their course admission has been confirmed in writing.
Yoga With Srinatha respects the experience, teaching approach and knowledge shared by every teacher. Students are expected to help maintain a supportive, disciplined and respectful learning environment.
Students should communicate respectfully with teachers, staff, fellow participants and local community members.
Different yoga teachers and schools may follow different methods, traditions, sequences and interpretations.
Students may ask questions or request clarification, but comparisons with other teachers should be expressed politely and should not disturb the learning environment.
A difference in technique or teaching style does not automatically mean that the teaching is incorrect, as yoga knowledge may be shared differently across traditions.
Students should not photograph, record or publish private classes, course materials, teachers or other participants without permission.
Harassment, abusive conduct, discrimination, threats, deliberate disruption or repeated disrespectful behaviour will not be accepted.
We value honest feedback and understand that students may occasionally have concerns related to teaching, accommodation, meals, health, scheduling or course management.
Students are kindly requested to raise concerns directly with the course coordinator or authorised teacher as soon as possible. This gives our team a fair opportunity to understand the matter, provide clarification and take reasonable corrective action during the course.
Before posting publicly or on social media, students are encouraged to complete the internal feedback process and ensure that any statement shared is truthful, respectful, based on personal experience and presented without abusive, misleading or defamatory language.
Students are encouraged to discuss teaching-related concerns during the course instead of waiting until the training has concluded. This allows the teachers to explain the method, understand the concern and provide support where reasonably possible.
Nothing in this policy prevents a student from reporting a genuine health or safety concern, seeking medical assistance, contacting an appropriate authority or exercising any right available under applicable law.
Yoga practice can affect each person differently. Temporary tiredness, muscle soreness, emotional sensitivity or difficulty adjusting to an intensive schedule may occur during the training.
Students must immediately inform the teacher or coordinator about pain, injury, illness, significant emotional distress or any other health concern. Students should not continue a practice that causes unusual or severe discomfort.
The training is based on the curriculum, experience and teaching methodology of Yoga With Srinatha and its appointed teachers. Knowledge may be shared through traditional explanation, guided practice, observation, correction, demonstration and personal experience.
Constructive questions and feedback are welcome. Students are encouraged to discuss teaching-related concerns during the course so that clarification and support can be provided promptly.
